Using Voice Mail while roaming
To ensure your Voice Mail works properly while roaming, please note the followings:
Please press [##002#SEND] to cancel all types of call forwarding before you leave Hong Kong. This will also protect you from any unnecessary roaming charges incurred by manual call forwarding.
To access Voice Mail from overseas, please dial by referring to the Voice Mail number shown in the Voice Mail alert SMS message. You will be prompted to enter your mobile phone number and password (similar to accessing Voice Mail box via a landline in Hong Kong).
To ensure you are able to listen to your Voice Mail messages, please dial *988 to set up your password before leaving Hong Kong. You only need to do this once.
Via your mobile phone: You will need to pay the roaming charges similar to that incurred when making a call to Hong Kong
Via a local landline: You will need to pay a local service provider's IDD charges.
While roaming, no additional charge will be made for receiving Voice Mail alert SMS messages.

Enjoy greater privacy wherever you go
The Hong Kong Connecting Tone service enables you to enjoy greater privacy while roaming. After you subscribe to the service, the Hong Kong Connecting Tone will be activated automatically while you are roaming. Regardless of where you may be, your caller will hear the standard local connecting tone under normal condition, as if you are in Hong Kong. The subscription process is easy and hassle free.

Roaming Call Management Monthly Package includes Hong Kong Connecting Tone and Roaming Voicemail. The Hong Kong Connecting Tone enables you to enjoy greater privacy while roaming. Regardless of where you may be, your caller will hear the standard local connecting tone under normal condition, as if you are in Hong Kong. Roaming Voicemail will forward all unanswered incoming calls to your voicemail.
Caller’s local telecom operator may provide ringtone that may affect your Hong Kong Connecting Tone.
Customers are advised to subscribe to, and activate Roaming Call Management service before leaving Hong Kong, otherwise roaming charges will apply.
Customers are required to apply for International Roaming Service to use Roaming Call Management service while roaming elsewhere.
