Wesley Cheng is the Executive Vice President of Prepaid, Wholesale and Carrier Business of CSL Limited. Wesley leads CSLˇ¦s prepaid SIM marketing and sales, Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) business, and commercial relationship between CSL and other telecommunications operators in Hong Kong.
Wesley has nearly 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry and began his career as a satellite engineer in STAR TV and then a mobile radio engineer at Motorola. He gained his experience in serving regional MNCs when he worked in BT in Australia. He has strong experience in product development and IP Telephony and served as Product Planning Manager in SmarTone and Vice President of Product Management in Wherever.net. Wesley also has extensive experience in international business at both retail and carrier level. He managed IDD and carrier business in SmarTone prior to joining CSL. During the recent years in CSL, he played a key role in developing the MVNO business and addressing specific market segments in Hong Kong.
Wesley holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University
of New South Wales, Australia and a MBA from the Australian Graduate School of
Management.
