Peter Smith is the Executive Vice President, Business Operations & IT of CSL Limited.

Peter is responsible for managing CSL’s business operations functions including billing operations, credit management, revenue assurance, sales fulfillment and procurement.

Peter has been responsible for driving a number of key business transformation programs over the past two years. He also has accountability for the company’s IT department, including developing and executing on CSL’s IT strategy, application development and support of business and operational support systems, together with managing CSL’s IT infrastructure.

Peter has 23 years of experience in the communications industry. Prior to joining CSL in 2001, Peter worked for Telstra based in Australia where he held various senior IT management roles supporting a broad cross section of communications products and services.

Peter is an Executive Committee member of the Hong Kong Computer Society CIO board, and Chairman of the Technology Committee for the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Monash University in Australia.
