Easy TopUp app allows instant topping up of the PCCW-HKT Rechargeable SIM card of your handset via an Internet banking* facility for a specific Hong Kong bank account.

Recharge for yourself, family and friends

No matter whether you are our existing customer, you can also use this app to recharge PCCW-HKT Rechargeable SIM cards owned by family and friends.

Special promotion

Any recharge before Dec 31, 2014, entitles users to:

• HK$50 extra bonus value

HK$50 bonus value will be stored in the rechargeable SIM card once the recharge has been completed. Each bank account user can enjoy this promotional offer once only.

Easy TopUp service cannot be used to recharge PCCW-HKT Hello Prepaid SIM Cards.
* You can make top up transaction via mobile app by setting up a one-off “Mobile Direct Debit Payment Authorization” with Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOCHK”) Internet Banking only.

Requirements

• An Internet banking* user must have a security device issued in respect of a specific Hong Kong bank account
• An Internet accessible handset with Internet connectivity via 3G or Wi-Fi
• An iPhone (OS 5 or newer) or Android device (OS 2.3 or newer)
• Anyone (even non-customers) can recharge a SIM card via the Easy TopUp app

Recharge procedure

• A)   Register (download/run the Easy TopUp app)
• B)  Set up "Mobile Direct Debit Payment Authorisation" in BOCHK Internet Banking
• C)  Recharge

A) Register (download/run the Easy TopUp app)

1)  Download~ and run the free Easy TopUp app from Google Play/ App Store and use "Easy TopUp" as the search phrase on your handset.

~ Downloading the application from Google Play or App Store will incur a local mobile data charge. A roaming data charge will be incurred if the user is overseas.

2)  Run the Easy TopUp app and follow steps below:

•  Register your mobile number

Enter the mobile number running the Easy TopUp app		Wait for an activation code via SMS		Enter the activation code provided by the SMS

•  Set up passcode

Enter a new passcode with 5 to 8 non-consecutive digits		Re-enter the passcode

•  Set up your security questions

Select a security question from Security Question 1 and answer		Select another security question from Security Question 2 and answer		Click the "Get Set Up Code" to get your "Set Up Code" to be used for registering for the Mobile Direct Debit Payment Service

 B) Set up "Mobile Direct Debit Payment Authorization" in BOCHK Internet Banking

Follow the pictures below to register for Mobile Direct Debit Payment Service, and complete the fields below:

C)  Recharge

Run the free Easy TopUp app and enter its passcode:

You can choose the person for whom you are recharging through either:

A)  An existing handset contact list, or
B)  By creating a new contact

A)  An existing handset's contact list

Press "Select from contacts"		Select a contact to add		Beneficiary added

B) Creating a new contact

Press "Enter name and mobile number"		Enter the name and mobile number		Beneficiary added

Select recharge amount

Select top-up amount. Choose from four pre-selected top-up values: HK$50, HK$100, HK$200 or HK$300		Confirm top-up amount and beneficiary mobile number		A confirmation screen will be displayed after top-up is complete. Recharge completed!

Remarks:

Maximum recharge amount for each registered user via this app:

• Maximum top-up amount: HK$300
• Daily maximum top-up amount: HK$500
• Maximum accumulated top-up amount in 30 days: HK$1,000

Maximum recharge amount for each mobile number via this app:

• Daily maximum top-up amount: HK$300
• Maximum number of top-up times per day: 2
• Maximum accumulated top-up amount in 30 days: HK$800

A maximum of 5 telephone numbers can be recharged by each user via Easy TopUp app.
