Terms and Conditions for the csl 4.5G Ultra Speed Multi-User Service Plan
* 4.5G Ultra Speed means 600Mbps, is our network specification for downlink of 4G LTE-A network (with 75Mbps for uplink) provided via three sections of 20MHz continuous 4G spectrum each, which is only available to designated locations with the use of a compatible device. Actual speeds that customers experience are less than the specifications and will be affected by the device used, locations, network conditions and other extraneous factors.
(1) Device Connection: You are required to subscribe to this Service Plan and designated Value Added Service(s) of not less than $39 per month (if applicable) simultaneously for a designated Commitment Period. If your selected VAS is terminated or cancelled at any time within the Commitment Period, you will have to select another VAS so that the total monthly fee of VAS subscribed by you shall not be less than $39 per month (if applicable). Prepayment (amount depending on your chosen device and Service Plan subscription) is required and the prepayment amount will be credited into your csl account by installments during the Commitment Period.
(2) SIM Connection: You are required to subscribe to this Service Plan for a designated Commitment Period.
(3) You are required to pay a MTR/Tunnels/Mobile License/Administration Fee of $18 per month.
(4) Intra-network SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to 1O1O, csl and SUN Mobile customers and is subject to a monthly quota of 500 SMS units ("Quota"). Inter-network SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to users of other Hong Kong networks. International SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to users of overseas networks. Within the monthly Quota, you can enjoy sending any Inter-network SMS at $0.6 per SMS and International SMS at $2 per SMS. The Inter-network SMS and International SMS will be counted towards the Quota. If the usage exceeds the Quota, the Thereafter Charge is $0.3 per Intra-network SMS; $0.8 per Inter-network SMS; and $3 per International SMS. Each SMS holds 160 English or 70 non-English characters, including spaces and punctuation marks. If the SMS contains both English and non-English characters, the limit of 70 characters shall apply. If your message exceeds this limitation, it will be transmitted in form of multiple SMS and each SMS will be charged.
(5) Local Thereafter Charge for MMS: $2 per MMS.
(6) The SIM Cards included in your Service Plan will be provided to you upon your request at any time within the Commitment Period. You are required to keep the SIM Cards provided to you until the end of the Commitment Period. Any changes to the mobile numbers of the Service Plan during the Commitment Period will be charged in accordance with our prevailing rates.
(7) By registering other users of the Service Plan ("Service Plan Users"), you are required to provide the users’ personal data to us and you acknowledge and agree that you have obtained the consent of these users, to disclose their personal data to us for the purposes stated in our Mobile Service Agreement. You also agree that we may advise Service Plan Users that they were referred to us by you.
(8) By registering a Service Plan User, you agree that he or she may (a) share Service Plan entitlements, (b) subscribe to and cancel any VAS for his or her SIM Card, (c) report the loss of his or her SIM Card and apply for replacement of his or her SIM Card and reconnection of his or her Mobile Service when the Service Plan User loses his or her SIM Card, and (d) request a copy of his or her Mobile Service usage records, and you will be responsible for all related Charges. Clause 12 of the Mobile Service Agreement does not apply to the Service Plan Users.
(9) All usage included in the Service Plan will be shared among all SIM Cards. The accumulated usage of all SIM Cards will be counted towards the usage of your Service Plan.
(10) The local Mobile Data service will stop when you use up the monthly local Mobile Data usage included in your Service Plan and will resume at the beginning of the next bill month. Customer may choose to unsubscribe from mobile data service if necessary. However, the monthly fee will remain unchanged.
(11) Not all devices support SMS and/or other services included in the Service Plan. You should check whether your device is able to receive SMS and support any services included in the Service Plan.
(12) Unless otherwise specified, Service Plan included usage applies to local use only.
(13) Unless otherwise specified, Service Plan included usage will be calculated on a per minute basis. Any usage of less than one minute will be counted as one minute.
(14) When you use the Call Waiting service and are connected to more than one telephone line, airtime will be calculated according to the total time spent on all connected lines during call waiting.
(15) Any unused usage cannot be carried forward to the next bill month and will be forfeited at the end of each bill month.
(16) Unlimited Wi-Fi usage at csl Wi-Fi hotspots for Wi-Fi enabled devices. 1,000Mbps is the network specification for Wi-Fi 802.11ac only applicable to selected csl Wi-Fi hotspots in limited locations. However, the actual speeds experienced by customers using those hotspots are less than the network specifications and will be affected by user’s mobile device (e.g. number of antenna equipped), network coverage and usage, international bandwidth and other extraneous factors. (17) Register as a member of The Club, and earn Clubpoints from telecom bills to redeem gifts. The Club service is subject to Terms and Conditions of Club HKT Limited. For details or registration, please visit www.theclub.com.hk.
(18) KingKing: KingKing is a VoIP service based on Wi-Fi connectivity for use in Hong Kong or while you are abroad, so that you can (i) make voice calls to any Hong Kong phone number, (ii) receive voice calls, (iii) make and receive KingKing video calls, or (iv) send SMS messages. Any KingKing users shall pay for the Wi-Fi connectivity service, SMS, IDD and/or international roaming charges for calls to non-Hong Kong phone numbers (if applicable). KingKing is only available to selected service plans and compatible only with certain handsets. For details, please visit http://e.hkcsl.com/kk.
(19) Tap & Go Payment Service is subject to the relevant Terms and Conditions. For details, please visit Tap & Go website at www.tapngo.com.hk (Stored Value Facilities Licence Number: SVF0002).
(20) 3-month WeChat Data Package: WeChat Data Package provides local mobile data for using some designated WeChat features. The VAS will be cancelled automatically after the 3-month free period. To continue using the VAS, you are required to subscribe to the VAS again. The fee of WeChat Data Package is $8 per month, subject to change from time to time. (22) Respective Value-Added Services are applicable to designated handset models/OS.
(23) Top-up Data Package
- The Top-up Data Package is applicable to selected Service Plan(s) only.
- The fee of the Top-up Data Package is subject to change from time to time and you will be charged the fee prevailing at the time of your subscription.
- Any unused usage cannot be carried forward to the next bill month and will be forfeited at the end of that bill month.
- The local Mobile Data service will stop when you use up the local Mobile Data usage included in your Top-up Data Package and the service will resume in the next bill month or when you subscribe to another Top-up Data Package.
- We reserve the right to terminate or change this Top-up Data Package or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and to make the final decision in the event of any dispute.
(24) Additional SIM Card
- Additional SIM Card is applicable to selected Service Plan(s) only.
- You may subscribe up to 1 Additional SIM Card. You are required to subscribe to each Additional SIM Card for a Commitment Period of 12 months.
- The fee of the Additional SIM Card does not include any usage. All usage of the Additional SIM Card will be counted towards the usage of your Service Plan. Roaming charges will apply when you use the Additional SIM Card overseas.
- If your Service Plan or any part thereof is suspended or limited, the services of the Additional SIM Card will also be suspended or limited. If your Service Plan is terminated, the Additional SIM Card will also be terminated and you will have to pay the Early Termination Charge in the sum of the remaining contract monthly fee per Additional SIM Card. You will also have to pay the Early Termination Charge if you terminate the Additional SIM Card before the expiry of its Commitment Period.
- We reserve the right to terminate or change this service or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and to make the final decision in the event of any dispute.
(25) "csl 4.5G Ultra Speed Multi-User Service Plan" cannot be used in conjunction with the "DataRoam Day Pass" offer.
(26) Special Terms and Conditions for Speed Data Package
  1. The Speed Data Package (“Service”) provides additional 10GB monthly mobile data to your current mobile service plan.
  2. New customers who switched from Smartone / Hong Kong Broadband to CSL and subscribed to the designated 10GB csl 4.5G Ultra Speed Service Plan or designated 20GB Multi-User Service Plan with a commitment period of 24 months (“Designated Plan”) and this Service are eligible to receive the rebate of $50/month during the commitment period, while the commitment period of this Service shall be the same as that of the Designated Plan.
  3. Existing customers who subscribed to any service plan of CSL with a commitment period (“Existing Plan”) and wish to enjoy this Service must separately subscribed to the Designated Plan to receive the rebate of $50/month during the new commitment period (i.e. 24 months plus the remaining commitment period of the Existing Plan); if the Designated Plan is not subscribed, such existing customers are eligible to receive the rebate of $50/month during the remaining commitment period of the Existing Plan, while the commitment period of this Service shall be the same as that of the remaining commitment period of the Existing Plan.
  4. Existing customers who subscribed to any service plan of CSL without a commitment period and wish to enjoy this Service must separately subscribed to the Designated Plan to receive the rebate of $50/month during the commitment period, while the commitment period of this Service shall be the same as that of the Designated Plan; if the Designated Plan is not subscribed, the commitment period of this Service shall be 24 months, and such existing customers are eligible to receive the rebate of $50/month during such commitment period. For Tertiary Student U-Plan or Smart Pama Service Plan, we will align the Commitment Period of this Service with your monthly mobile service plan.
  5. The listed monthly fee of this Service is HK$150. The designated monthly fee rebate will be credited to your mobile service account during the Commitment Period by month.
  6. This Service cannot be used in conjunction with certain types of services which may be subject to change from time to time. For details, please call our customer service hotline on 25 123 123.
  7. The actual speed that you experience will be considerably less than the network specifications and will be affected by internet conditions, server speeds, network conditions, coverage, locations, the device used, hardware, software, usage levels and other factors.
  8. If you choose to terminate the Service before expiry of the Commitment Period, you will be required to pay an Early Termination Charge equivalent to the sum of the listed monthly fees of the remaining months of the Commitment Period.
  9. This Service is subject to your Mobile Service Agreement with CSL Mobile Limited.
(27) Piggy Bank Data Carry Forward Service:
- Piggy Bank Service is applicable to subscribers of designated 4.5G Ultra Speed service plan users (including SIM/handset service plans, Multi-User Service Plans and iPhone/ iPad Service Plans. This service is not applicable to all complimentary SIM service plan (including but not limited to Free Tap & Go SIM card with 12 months/6 months SIM connection $298 or above / Handset connection $548 or above service plans and Nevigator complimentary SIM service plans), 4.5G Ultra Speed service plan with 6 months commitment periods, Pet Tracking Service Package and SmartBand Tracking Service Package. The Top-up Data Package is applicable to selected Service Plan(s) only.
- The monthly service fee is $48 for subscription to a commitment period. Customer must subscribe to the commitment period aligning with the service plan. Upon subscription to this service, any remaining local data entitlement will be carried forward to the next billing month up to the end of the commitment period of your Service Plan. All remaining local data entitlement will be forfeited upon thereafter.
- Free-to-Go customers can also subscribe to Piggy Bank Service at a monthly fee of $68 and maximum local data entitlement balance to be carried forward is 30GB.
- If you change your service plan, all remaining local data entitlement will be forfeited.
- Piggy Bank Service is not among the designated VAS for selection in respect of Handset Plan subscription (if applicable).
- You can terminate Piggy Bank Service by giving us at least 30 days' prior notice all remaining local data entitlement will be forfeited without any compensation.
(28) MUP VAS Package Terms & Conditions:
Customers can subscribe to VAS at HK$33 each – eg two VAS shall cost HK$66 and so on. Minimum MUP VAS Package commitment period is 24 months. This package available only to MUP plan subscribers, while VAS services can be subscribed to by main and sub SIMs. Service fees are charged on a per SIM basis.

(29) A free 12-month i-GUARD Phone & Tablet Repair Plan ("this Repair Plan") is applicable to personal customers of csl service subscription plans purchasing a designated device model of retail price HK$2,000 - HK$12,888 from csl or designated retailers* in Hong Kong for drop / crush / liquid / water damage, broken screen and one time only subsidy to purchase a new device for total damage. The customer must subscribe to a new (or renew) a designated mobile service plan^ ; complete registration at http://www.i-guard.hk/eng/uad-register/ within 30 days of purchase of the mobile device and continue to be a personal customers of csl service subscription plans throughout the term of this Repair Plan. This Repair Plan is provided by HKT Financial Services (IA) Limited and is subject to its terms and conditions. *Please visit http://www.i-guard.hk/eng/uad/overview.htm for details and the designated retailers. ^With a commitment period of 12 months of above and by signing to a designated value-added services valued at $39 or above per month simultaneously (if applicable) within 30 days of device purchased. (30) Special Terms and Conditions for Capacity Data Package:
  1. The Capacity Data Package (“Service”) is subject to the terms and conditions of your Mobile Service Agreement with CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) and these Special Terms and Conditions.
  2. The listed monthly fee of this Service is HK$240 Applicable to designated 10GB or 20GB csl 4.5G Ultra Speed Multi-User Service Plans) and HK$100 $150 (Applicable to designated SIM connection $298 or above / Handset connection $548 or above). Customer wish to enjoy this Service must separately subscribe the Designated Plan with designated commitment period. The designated monthly fee rebate will be credited to your mobile service account during the commitment period by month.
  3. When the mobile data usage you used in a particular month reaches the monthly data entitlement of the Designated Mobile Service Plan you subscribed to, you can continue to use the mobile data service without speed throttling. However, you will be allocated with less network resources for access subject to the prevailing network conditions and your experience may be affected.
  4. This Service cannot be used in conjunction with certain types of services which may be subject to change from time to time. For details, please call our customer service hotline on 25 123 123.
  5. The actual speed that you experience will be considerably less than the network specifications and may be affected by internet conditions, server speeds, network conditions, coverage, locations, the device used, hardware, software, usage levels and other factors.

  (32) VoLTE「Service」
-VoLTE service is only available under 4G LTE network coverage for intra-network calls or inter-network call between CTM Macau, with designated rate plans and handsets, and cannot be used in conjunction with certain types of service. Please call 25123123 for details.
-Video call is a chargeable service, irrespective of whether 3G or VoLTE has been activated. The standard charge of local video call: intra network – $1.5/min; other local operator – $2.5/min. Usage will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Customer in Hong Kong makes voice or video calls to CTM Macau numbers or makes IDD voice or video calls in Macau are subject to extra IDD charges.
-VoLTE Video call is only available when both users are using VoLTE service.
(33) Smartphone workshops:
-Workshops available in Cantonese only.
-Workshop arrangements (such as content, tutor, time and venue) may be changed according to conditions. In such a situation, customers will be notified individually.
-Deadline for workshop registration is three hours before one starts. Limited availability on a first-come-first-served basis.
-Customers agree that the company can use photographs and audio of you and/or visual recordings of you in any publicity or material for promotion of such events on csl’s Facebook page or other platforms.
-csl’s decision shall be final and binding in the event of dispute arising from a workshop.
(34) Customer must subscribe to designated Capacity Data Package to enjoy monthly-waiver 3 free Viu Premium Service fees. Once customer terminates Capacity Data Package, respective monthly-waivers of Viu Premium Service shall expire. This offer is not applicable to free Capacity Data Package.
(35) “Local mobile data usage setting” is a free feature designed for the Multi-User Service Plan. Registered customers are entitled to turn the data connection on/off and set a monthly local mobile data usage limit for service plan users via the csl app. Users will receive notification by SMS when the data connection has been turned off, or a data usage limit has been set. Users can view relevant settings via the csl app. Secondary SIM users should contact registered users when changing any local data usage settings.
(36) China Data Roaming Package (“The Service”) Terms and Conditions:
  • The Service is available to selected personal account customers of designated csl service plan subscriptions who have activated IDD, roaming service and subscribe to Always-Be-Connected Data Pass service. It is subject to related Terms and Conditions.
  • Required subscribe to designated service plan and subscribe a minimum commitment period of 24 months (“Commitment Period”).
  • The Service included usage applies to use in Mainland China only.
  • Any unused usage cannot be carried forward to the next bill month and will be forfeited at the end of each bill month.
  • This Service included usage will take priority in deduction of data roaming usage in Mainland China. Customer may choose use Always-Be-Connected Data Pass for continued use of data roaming service (roaming charges apply). For service details and charges of Always-Be-Connected Data Pass, visit.
  • Unless otherwise specified, the Service cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion and is non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash or other products/services.
  • Customers who terminate their mobile service accounts before expiry of Commitment Period shall be deemed to have forfeited any such entitlement, and CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) shall not be responsible for any such forfeiture.
  • If customers terminate the Service before the expiry of the Commitment Period, CSL would charge the customers the early termination charges which are the sum of the monthly fee of the Service for the remaining period.
(37) Offer apply on primary SIM card only, all secondary SIM cards cannot enjoy this offer. "86-Easy" value–added service:
You are required to complete the registration of the "86-Easy" value-added service (“this Service”) via the csl mobile app (“Mobile App”).
When you subscribe to this Service, you will be randomly allocated a China mobile number (“PRC Mobile Number”).This PRC Mobile Number cannot be ported-out to other mobile operator. You can receive Short-Message-Services (“SMS”) via your designated PRC Mobile Number and send SMS to the applicable service provider(s) in mainland China and mobile numbers provided by the mobile service providers in mainland China on the Mobile App. The applicable service provider(s) in mainland China may be subject to change from time to time. Please call our customer service hotline at 28881010 for details. You are required to subscribe this Service by paying the relevant Charges for the designated Commitment Period (if applicable). If you choose to terminate this Service before the expiry of the Commitment Period, you will be required to pay an early termination charge equivalent to the sum of the monthly fees of this Service for the remaining months of your Commitment Period. This Service can only be used via your Mobile App.
Maximum storage of SMS in Mobile App Inbox is 200. Basic Sent SMS Monthly Quota is 10, monthly cycle will be reset by 1st day of each month. No more SMS can be sent out once quota has been fully used or SMS Storage is full. You are responsible for deleting and backing-up your SMS in Inbox anytime. We are not liable for any loss or irretrievable SMS. When this Service is terminated, the assigned China PRC Mobile Number will be regarded as surrendered by you with immediate effect. Moreover, you will not be able to view or retrieve any SMS from the Mobile App. CSL Mobile Limited reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. In case of dispute, the decision of CSL Mobile Limited shall be final and binding.)
