Special Terms and Conditions for 5G Local mobile data service

In areas outside of our 5G coverage, you will be provided with a 3G and/or 4G Mobile Service.
|

Customers are required to subscribe to designated service plan for a commitment period of 24 months. An MTR/Tunnels/Mobile Licence/Administration Fee of HK$18 per month applies. For service details and service plan Terms & Conditions, please visit www.hkcsl.com.Prepayment of 24months service plan fee (amount depends on your chosen service plan) is required. If a customer terminates this agreement before the commitment period expires, the prepaid balance of the remaining commitment period service plan fee becomes forfeit immediately and no refund will be given.

Monthly fee of your SIM will be adjusted to SIM plan with the same local data entitlement at the prevailing rate upon completion of the commitment period.

For selected 5G service plans, your basic and top up entitlement support tethering and peer-to-peer (P2P) functions (such as Bit-Torrent). For customers with multiple or additional sim cards, only one sim card can support tethering and peer-to-peer (P2P) functions at a time. Any breach of these restrictions may lead to suspension of your service or additional charges by us.

180GB 5G service plan includes 150GB monthly local data and 30GB local bonus data. Maximum up and download speeds for data access thereafter will be 2 Mbps. Actual speeds experienced will be considerably less than the network specifications and will be affected by Internet conditions, server speeds, network conditions, coverage, location, device used, hardware, software, usage levels and other factors.

Unless otherwise specified, Service Plan included usage applies to local use only. Unless otherwise specified, Service Plan included usage will be calculated on a per minute basis. Any usage of less than one minute will be counted as one minute. When you use the Call Waiting service and are connected to more than one telephone line, airtime will be calculated according to the total time spent on all connected lines during call waiting.

Your Service Plan can be used for unlimited minutes local call, Mobile Data, SMS, MMS and Wi-Fi. Intra-network SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to 1O1O, csl and SUN Mobile customers and is subject to a monthly quota of 500 SMS units ("Quota"). Inter-network SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to users of other Hong Kong networks. International SMS is text SMS sent within Hong Kong to users of overseas networks. Within the monthly Quota, you can enjoy sending any Inter-network SMS at $0.6 per SMS and International SMS at $2 per SMS. The Inter-network SMS and International SMS will be counted towards the Quota. If the usage exceeds the Quota, the Thereafter Charge is $ 0.3 per Intra-network SMS; $0.6 per Inter-network SMS; and $2 per International SMS. Each SMS holds 160 English or 70 non-English characters, including spaces and punctuation marks. If the SMS contains both English and non-English characters, the limit of 70 characters shall apply. If your message exceeds this limitation, it will be transmitted in form of multiple SMS and each SMS will be charged.

Local Thereafter Charge for MMS: $2 per MMS, International $5 per MMS.

Not all devices support SMS and/or other services included in the Service Plan. You should check whether your device is able to receive SMS and support any services included in the Service Plan
|

Unless otherwise specified, Service Plan included usage applies to local use only.
|
11. |
Any unused usage cannot be carried forward to the next bill month and will be forfeited at the end of each bill month.
|
12. |
You expressly understand and agree that your use of the Mobile Service is at your sole risk, and the Mobile Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis and that we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We assume no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings or for any damage to your Mobile Equipment or any other equipment or device or loss of data that results from the download of any materials, data or information. You expressly relieve us from any and all liabilities arising from the access or use of any part of the Mobile Service.

Unlimited Wi-Fi usage at csl Wi-Fi hotspots for Wi-Fi enabled devices. 1,000Mbps is the network specification for Wi-Fi 802.11ac only applicable to selected csl Wi-Fi hotspots in limited locations. However, the actual speeds experienced by customers using those hotspots are less than the network specifications and will be affected by user’s mobile device (e.g. number of antenna equipped), network coverage and usage, international bandwidth and other extraneous factors. Unless otherwise specified, this Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion and is non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash or other products/services. CSL Mobile Limited reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice. CSL Mobile Limited reserves the right to make the final decision in the event of any dispute.

Special Terms and Conditions for 5G Local Data Package

This Local Data Package (this “Service”) provides additional 5G monthly mobile data to your designated Ultra Speed mobile service plan.
|
2. |
The Plan is subject to a designated commitment period.
|
3. |
Subscribing to this services is eligible to automatically upgrade 4G local data, including this Service bonus data and mobile service plan entitlement, to 5G local data, meanwhile, other services terms and conditions will not be changed. Remaining unused data entitlement will be forfeited by default each month.

4. |
For 4G customers upgrade to selected 5G local data package with $150/200GB or $300/300GB local data entitlement, all data entitlement under your 5G monthly plan and this Service (collectively “Total Data Entitlement”) are subject to the following restrictions: only 20GB data in your Total Data Entitlement supports tethering and peer-to-peer (P2P) function (such as BitTorrent); For customers with multiple or additional sim cards, only one sim card can support tethering and peer-to-peer P2P functions at a time. Any breach of the above restrictions may lead to suspension of your service or additional charges by us.

Customer must use a supported 5G handset and use within the covered zone. Actual speeds that customers experience are less than the specifications and will be affected by the device used, locations, network conditions and other extraneous factors.

6. |
This Service cannot be used in conjunction with certain types of services which may be subject to change from time to time.
|
7. |
In order to provide bonus data, customer must continue to use designated mobile service plan within the Service commitment period. If you choose to terminate the Service before expiry of the Commitment Period, you will be required to pay an Early Termination Charge equivalent to the sum of the listed monthly fees of the remaining months of the Commitment Period.

8. |
CSL Mobile Limited reserves the right to amend and/or cancel the 5G Local Data Package and/or amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. In the event of inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail. In the event of dispute, CSL Mobile Limited reserves the right of final determination.

9. |
This Service is subject to your Mobile Service Agreement with CSL Mobile Limited and this special Terms and Condition.

Piggy Bank Service Terms and Conditions

|
Piggy Bank Service (“This Service”) is applicable to customers subscribing to a designated 5G service plan with the local data entitlement 80GB/150GB/300GB (including SIM/handset, Multi-User service plans).

The monthly service subscription fee of This Service is HK$48 when a commitment period is involved. Customer must agree to a commitment period associated with the service plan concerned. The designated 5G service plan subscribers could entitle to This Service for free during the designated 5G service plan commitment period. This Service will be terminated automatically upon the completion of the commitment period. When subscribing to This Service, any remaining local data entitlement will be carried forward to the next billing month up to the end of the commitment period of your service plan. All remaining local data entitlement will be forfeited thereafter.

If you change your service plan, all remaining local data entitlement will be forfeited.
|
3. |
This Service is not among the designated VAS for selection in respect of Handset Plan subscription (if applicable).
|
4. |
You can terminate This Service by giving us at least 30 days' prior notice all remaining local data entitlement will be forfeited without any compensation.
|
5. |
This Service is not applicable to customers subscribing to a 5G service plan with the local data entitlement 8GB/12GB/500GB.
|
6. |
With regard to designated 5G service plan subscribers, This Service allows remaining local data entitlement to be carried forward to the next billing month, throughout the commitment period. The maximum local data entitlement residue that can be carried forward to the next billing month is equal to three times of your service plan entitlement.

Restart Handset Switching Service Terms and Conditions
|
1. |
Restart Handset Switching Service (the “Service”) is provided to you by Bolttech Device Protection Hong Kong Limited. You confirm to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of Bolttech, which are provided together with this application form for the Service (the “Restart Program Terms and Conditions”).

2. |
Application for the Service is subject to approval by Bolttech.
|
3. |
Upon approval, the Service commences from the service commencement date indicated by Bolttech in its confirmation to you.
|
4. |
Unless otherwise explicitly indicated by us in writing, the Service is available only to HKID or passport holders who have subscribed to our post-paid services. |
5. |
The Service is only applicable to designated handset or watch models.
|
6. |
To apply for the Service,
-
You must subscribe to designated mobile plans (“Designated Mobile Plans”) at the time of Service subscription; or
-
You have an Eligible Handset or Watch.
|
7. |
Eligible Handset or Watch means a handset which are
-
purchased from csl, 1O1O as a standalone handset /watch or a designated retailer you apply for the Service; and
-
handset/ watch owned by you.
|
8. |
Eligible Handset or watch must be in good conditions. Upon your application, you may be required to present your handset or watch for inspection to see if it is eligible for the Service.
|
9. |
The Service allows you to during the Service period (i) switch your designated registered handset/watch for a replacement device (“Replacement Device”) during the Service period by paying to Bolttech a switch fee (the “Switch Fee”) of 28% of the suggested retail price of your registered device prevailing at the time of your service application at csl/1O1O store (the “Original SRP”) or (ii) enjoy a screen repair by paying to Bolttech a screen repair fee (the “ Screen Repair Fee”) of 3%. You will also be required to pay a monthly subscription fee (as set out in the application form) for the Service. “Restart Program Terms and Conditions” apply. For “related Bolttech Terms, please see “Restart Program Terms and Conditions”. |
10. |
Please refer to Restart Program Terms and Conditions for the number of device switch or screen repair you are entitled to during each 12-month rolling period during the Service period. Screen repair service is available to designated handset only and not applicable to smart watches. .

11. |
The Replacement Device is supplied and delivered to you by Bolttech. CSL Mobile Limited (“CSL”) expressly disclaims any warranties or representations of any kind in relation to the Replacement Device (whether express or implied).
|
12. |
The Replacement Device does not come with the original packaging or any accessories. It is not guaranteed that the Replacement Device is of the same model or colour as your registered device.
|
13. |
CSL is not the supplier of the Service, and makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality of the Service provided by Bolttech. In case of any enquiry or dispute about the Service, please contact Bolttech directly on 58032496.
|
14. |
If you terminate the Service before the expiry of the commitment period for the Service, CSL will charge you early termination charges, which are the sum of the monthly fees for the Service for the remaining unexpired period.
|
15. |
The Service will terminate immediately when your Designated Mobile Plan is terminated by you or by CSL.
|
16. |

17. |
In the event of any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
|

If you do not hand in your registered device or fail to comply with “Restart Program Terms and Conditions” , Bolttech may charge you up to 72% of the Original SRP in addition to the Switch Fee. Bolttech may take a hold on your credit card at the time of the switch for the purposes of such additional charge. |
