【csl can help you retrieve your stolen WhatsApp account!】
Scammers hijack WhatsApp accounts to steal money and personal information, so here’s what to do if YOUR WhatsApp account has been hijacked:
➊ Reinstall WhatsApp on your phone
➋ Enter and confirm your mobile number
➌ Enter the one-time six-digit password you receive by SMS
➍ Your account will be retrieved after you enter the six-digit password – and the hacker will be automatically and immediately logged out, without being able to get back in.
Hackers may activate two-factor authentication, so you might need to wait seven days before logging-in again. When you do login again, WhatsApp will restore only the most recent backup (if any), which means any conversations generated by the hacker cannot be restored.

【Seven ways of preventing your WhatsApp account from being hijacked✅】
Scammers pretend to be a relative or friends of a legitimate WhatsApp user in order to obtain account verification codes. They then extort money and personal information, so we recommend the following seven measures to protect your personal data*:
➊ Enable two-step authentication for your WhatsApp account
➋ Frequently check WhatsApp settings in your devices and log out any device no longer in use or unknown to you
➌ Never disclose passwords nor registration codes to others
➍ Be cautious with links when searching for the web version of WhatsApp on the Internet. And take care NOT to click on fake WhatsApp web versions by mistake
➎ Never download and use the WhatsApp app from an unofficial source
➏ Authenticate the identity of a WhatsApp sender when you receive a message containing a borrowing or remittance request, or asking for your personal data, and
➐ Be alert when receiving unsolicited or suspicious text messages. NEVER click on any link or disclose personal data.
Scammers constantly change tactics, so csl has established a Scam Prevention Support hotline to ensure you receive our latest updates and promotions. If you haveany doubt whatsoever about csl information you receive, simply forward the message to our officially-verified (✅) WhatsApp number (5471 1862), and we will check the authenticity and identify messages from unknown sources.

➊ csl will only send payment failure or bill refund notifications via letter or SMS. Customers are advised to log into “My Account” at the official csl website or app to check payment method.
➋ The official email address csl uses when issuing bill payment notification is eBillmobile@hkcsl.com.
➌ We would NEVER ask a customer to provide personal information or credit card details via email. Neither would we redirect customers to other websites.
